The small city of Forest City, Florida is nestled in the rolling hills of Central Florida, and it’s an absolute hidden gem. It has a quiet country feel, where you can walk down to the lake or through the historic downtown area. One major reason for its uniqueness is that it was established as a planned community from the very beginning. And because of this, there are countless historical buildings and landmarks throughout the city. Visiting Forest City is my favorite place to visit in Florida for several reasons. Within minutes of reaching the city limits you will find yourself surrounded by beautiful wooded areas and expansive blue lakes.
